Costa Lanta resort is located on the idyllic Thai island of Koh Lanta Yai, in Krabi province, Southern Thailand. Koh Lanta is protected under the National Marine Park authority with over 50 small islands nearby.
A 12 acre haven set by the edge of 3 kms of white sand beach, Costa Lanta was designed by Thailand’s leading contemporary architect, Duangrit Bunnag.

DESIGN & CONCEPT
The resort has been uniquely designed with respect for Koh Lanta’s nature, making Costa Lanta different from most Koh Lanta hotels.
The design of Costa Lanta incorporates superb ocean views and is set back among the natural shade of coconut palms, mature trees and native plants of the island.
Located on the quiet end of Khlong Dao beach, guests can enjoy plenty of space and stunning sunsets, find peace, serenity and solitude combined with low key luxury, natural beauty, elegance and genuine friendly service.
Rooms are arranged not in straight rows but scattered discreetly in the surroundings.
The different sections of the resort are separated by the natural water system of the island, with wooden walkways linking everything together, giving each room an abundant feeling of space.
To capture the beauty and calm of the surroundings, the bedrooms are designed to integrate with the environment. The open box style of the Cabana rooms maximizes exposure to light.
Bedroom walls open up entirely, offering guests the luxury of capturing the sea breeze and warmth of the tropical sun.

We strive to make Costa Lanta as sustainable as possible.
Our buildings have been designed to have minimal impact on the environment.
Guests can enjoy fresh organic vegetables grown in our garden.
We have a composting station where food waste is recycled back into the soil to grow more plants.
We recycle everything we can and organize beach clean ups to ensure Khlong Dao beach stays clean all year round.
Our garden lights are powered by solar and we have plans for more of the resort to be solar powered soon.
Guests can explore the local area by bicycles we provide for free.
